About Kingdom Church

Kingdom Church desires to create a community that encounters Christ and brings His Kingdom to not only our church, but our family, school, work, community, nation, and world. We want to see Heaven in every area of life. As Matthew 6:10 says, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, On Earth as it is in Heaven.”

Core Values

Honor God + People

1 Peter 2:17, “Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor.” Honor means to hold in high-regard or value. We are to hold God and all people at such a high value that it says in Romans 12:10, “Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.”

Disciple + Empower

Matthew 28:19, “Now go in my authority (power) and make disciples of all nations…” Jesus also empowered them and said in John 14 that we would do greater miracles than He did. Kingdom Church desires to make disciples to do greater things for God than we ever have.

Prayer

Ephesians 6:18, “Pray in the Spirit at all times for all people.” 1 Timothy 2:2 says, “To pray for kings and all those in authority…” This is why at Kingdom Church we will have a dedicated service on Wednesday night to pray for others, speak to God, and as it says in John 10 “hear his voice”.

Generosity

2 Corinthians 9:7 Let giving flow from your heart, not from a sense of religious duty. Let it spring up freely from the joy of giving—all because God loves hilarious generosity!” Every good gift comes from our heavenly Father and we are called to redistribute that gift to the world freely!

Praise + Worship

Psalms 22:3, “You are God-Enthroned, surrounded with songs, living among the shouts of praise of your princely people.” His word states his presence is among His praise. At Kingdom Church we desire to create an atmosphere where God’s presence is welcomed and hosted in every service with praise.

Children + Youth

Proverbs 22:6 “Dedicate your children to God and point them in the way that they should go, and the values they’ve learned from you will be with them for life.” God desires for us to go after children and youth. That is why two of our major emphasis of ministry at Kingdom Church is children and youth.

Cornerstone Truths

The Bible

We believe the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives. (Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Psalm 119:105)

One God

We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (1 Timothy 2:5, Isaiah 44:6, 1 Corinthians 8:6, Matthew 28:19, Genesis 1:1-2)

Salvation

We believe sin has separated each of us from God. Everything we'll ever need was dealt with at the cross, so we must come to a place of trusting Him in everything. (1 Corinthians 15:22-45, Isaiah 53:5, 2 Corinthians 8:9, 2 Corinthians 5:21)

Spirit Filled Life

We believe after Jesus left this Earth the Holy Spirit came to empower and have fellowship with the church. (Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, John 16:7, Luke 24:49, John 14:15-17)

Proclaim the Kingdom

We believe that the church has been given the ministry of Jesus to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to Earth. (Luke 9:2, Matthew 24:14, Matthew 6:10, Luke 17:21)

Kingdom Coming

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised and will rule and reign on this earth. History will conclude as the wicked are judged and the righteous enter a new heaven and a new earth. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelation 19:11-120, Revelation 20:1-15, Revelation 21, Revelation 22)
